The majority of CO2 emissions from construction companies' business activities are due to the use of electricity and fuel during the construction phase. As part of efforts toward decarbonization, reducing the fuel consumption of construction machinery, which accounts for about 80% of CO2 emissions during construction, is crucial. There is a need for efficient monitoring of CO2 emissions from construction machinery and support for fuel-efficient operation.
